eyesofdoctoreckleburg asked: still though, i feel like after 500 episodes they still can make us laugh, and thats a feat unto itself that deserves our love/respect etc. also any given sundance will forever be one of my all time favourite episodes.

halogenhedgehogs asked: It's true, the older episode's are more heartfelt. Like the one where Lisa becomes a vegetarian? It ends with homer giving her a piggy-back ride. Most of them these days just end with a funny gag or so. The only heartfelt ones recently are the Mother's Day one where they showed the characters with their mothers or the one where Homer's mother dies.

stalkingthemoon asked: I'm probably one of the few people that like the new simpsons. The first three seaons were AWESOME, but they weren't 'funny', it was a bit more like dramatic cool adventure (?) *cough cough crepes of warth* seasons 4-9 are the gold, But still, even tough simpsons is not like they used to be, they still amuse and make me laugh. I understand people that dislike the new seasons...

coldmanhattan asked: I think every single show starts decaying after a long running on tv, and the simpsons is obviously one of them. when the show started, it was a refreshing concept of cartoons laughing at the american life, but now, shows like family guy copied the same idea and it's enjoying the same success that the simpsons once had and I think thats why people are getting bored of it but we should applaud...

mogthemoogle asked: It was semi revealed before that in The Simpsons Episode: Behind the Laughter. Of course its not exactly direct because they have two different locations. They either say Missouri or Kentucky. It depends on what rerun you catch. They vary between the two!

ahollywoodstar asked: not gonna lie, the 500th episode was pretty lame. in the words of Comic Book Guy: worst episode ever (but not ever because there were surely worse episodes but this was lame for a milestone one).

princepleasure asked: the dead bart episode is a total hoax and does not actually exist. people think it does because of a convincing made-up blog post about it that was written like 6 years ago. there are so-called clips from the DB episode on youtube but they're just creepy splicings from the tracy ullman shorts. just google Dead Bart and i'm sure you'll come across the "article" about it....
